CHLOE ELMS - DAY GO BY EP

Singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer Chloe Elms returns with her second EP, Days Go By, released 29th April via RPMA Records. The self-produced four-track project blends dance, alt-house and jungle, marking a confident step forward in her evolving sound. With soft vocals, intricate melodies and genre-crossing production, Chloe continues to establish herself as a versatile new voice in the UK scene.
Opening track The Valley sets the tone with warm percussion, soft synths and layered textures, while Keep Calling delivers a nostalgic, high-energy dance moment shaped by themes of homesickness and family. I Wonder When reimagines an earlier demo into a dynamic, club-ready track, and Palm Trees (Edit) closes the EP with break-influenced rhythms, ethereal vocals and a final bass-driven lift.
This is a special one for us at RPMA… as we are proud to announce Machen are set to release their 2nd EP. Following on from Totality of Love featuring Crooked Man on the remix, Applying The 3 EP is a truly magical collaboration of musicians from around the world
Mark Kyriacou (Machen) has been a lifelong friend of Brendan Ringstead who runs the Guniur project in Gambia. From this friendship Mark was introduced to Jali Yankuba Conteh, a Griot/Kora player whose family has a long heritage with this instrument and in Kora music. Yankuba went on to create a music school in his homeland named after his late grandfather, Bai Conteh, and has toured his talent around the world for the last 25 years.
This EP features the track Applying The 3, produced by Mark and Features the vocals of Jali Yankuba Conteh and his young Gambian apprentice musicians, add to this the bass player Billy Fuller out of Bristol, drums by Eamon Ellams from New York, backing vocals by Machen co-partner Rachel Thomas from Wales, additional synths out of London by Toby Baker, and of course created, mixed and produced in Merseyside by Mark.
The remix comes from one of the hardest working men in music, AUNTIE FLO. Born and raised in Glasgow, his reputation as a producer and DJ is second to none, and his powerful remix is most definitely one for heads and the small hours of the night…
To round off the EP are two ethereal cosmic tracks - Step Into the Light and Rebirth & Renewal
